Secondary Technical School Třebíč is situated in Třebíč region. Beginning of its present establishment dates back to the year 1998 when three local secondary schools, aimed at technical branches, joined together. As a result a new regional centre of the lifelong education, with a wide range of educational possibilities, was founded. Nowadays the school has about 1000 students and 140 employees.

The school offers educational activities concerning these areas:

• Lifelong education (retraining courses, vocational seminars, etc.)

• Weak-current electrical engineering
• Electronic mechanic
• Mechanic of the heavy-current devices

• Mechanic of the electronic devices
• Electrician
• Locksmith

Education conception includes following priorities:

• Preparing graduates for their jobs to be creative and able to use skills and knowledge in practice
• Achieving a natural balance between comprehensive and vocational education regarding the lifelong educational needs
• Providing good language and communicational skills
• Ability to commonly use information and communication technologies and effectively work with information
• Preparing graduates for their personal, civil and professional lives
• Cooperation with national and international schools, institutions and companies
• Taking part in projects and grants organized by national and European institutions
• Development of the lifelong educational offers and the establishment of the Centre of Technical Education in Třebíč region.
